I should have gone out earlier as I couldn't get any traction where cars had compacted the snow so I rode around the neighborhood on the shoulder. I spun out and dropped it once then decided to come home and play in the front yard instead.
Too much fun!!!
Since I was suited up, I may as well play some more.

DeleteThe usual signs of snow last night were non existent, we doubted the weather forecast until we woke this morning to a blanket of the white stuff.

I showed hubby your video in order to convince him buying me a (used) TW125 I found on the internet. Unfortunately he couldn't agree less… no trial bike for me for winter riding. I will have to buy snow shoes instead (sigh!).

It was a blast and I was grinning from ear to ear, although it was a workout. Thanks, the snow angel was a test for the suit... and it passed.

ReplyDeleteI hope it melts by Monday but temperatures aren't forecast to be above freezing until Monday/Tuesday. I'll be leaving to work a wee bit earlier come Monday morning.

DeleteFortunately, this is one time that I don't have to drive anywhere so it was nice to be able to play.
Fun stuff that! My nephew took his kids out for some riding too - posted pics to facebook. All we have up here is cold sunshine and dry streets. I heard even OSU closed for the day :)
ReplyDeleteEveryone seems to be getting around town pretty well, the roads are still covered with compact snow and many cars have snow chains on. It's now the warming and freezing that'll wreak havoc.
