Happy Solstice

We just got back from a Winter Solstice party, we drank some wine, danced in the clear, cold, dark night, named and anointed a mighty oak tree, offered libations, we all said a few words then drank some more wine.



It was great getting together with friends we hadn't seen in sometime and catching up on what's going on with everyone.

And if the days start getting longer tomorrow, then all the better.

    Happy Solstice! Many in AK are looking forward to the days getting longer. The beginning of the end of winter so to speak.

    We have an actual day of sunshine today. Not cloudy, not foggy, but sunny.

    Thanks everybody. The sun did come back and we were able to get out today and go for a ride.

    Richard, I feel for you Alaskans with the low sun all winter.

    Bob, I am not as stealthy as you with a video camera as no electronic devices or flashlights were allowed. Besides, where would one conceal a camera when painted blue and dancing naked in the forest?
