....well, I looked at the blank comment box through teary eyes for a few minutes and couldn't think of anything profound. So, I'll just say thanks for your post, and thanks to all who served.
We were taught this poem in grade school for Remembrance Day, although I fail to remember all the words the first two lines have always stayed with me as well as its meaning. I too honor and thank those that served and the many that sacrificed their lives.
It is a beautiful poem, thanks for posting it and remembering.
