We don't celebrate Christmas so this is more a Solstice Tire Wreath made from a Shinko Dualsport Tire off my Tiger.
All it needed was a little greenery, so I went out to the backyard and took a few cuttings from our Giant Sequoia, some holly and a couple sprigs of Escallonia and Ta Da!!
I'll post another photo tonight when it's lit up.
WOW - Brad this is awesome! I love it.
ReplyDeleteRecycling done perfectly :)
I can't wait to see it lit up!
Thanks for the idea and inspiration Fuzzy! It's all you!
DeleteWell done. Leave it to the man to decorate for Christmas. Your hausfrau duties certainly become you ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, maybe I missed my calling of hausfrau, unfortunately it doesn't pay very well. It was a fun project.
DeleteI really like this!
ReplyDeleteYou know you need one too.
DeleteIf you want to make more of them, I'll be happy to send you all my wore out Michelin PR2s
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm, thank you for the offer.... but no. I am having a difficult time getting rid of the half dozen tires or so I already have stacked in the yard. Buy some lights and start decorating Erik... fa la la la la, la la la la.
DeleteI am smiling.
ReplyDeleteI am happy you are smiling.
DeleteSo is this the beginning of a new seasonal business?
ReplyDeleteI've made two wreaths, is it too soon to look into factory production and hiring staff?

Thanks Bob, but what am I during other times?
Deleteoooooooh ahhhhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you very much.
DeleteI love it! So creative in a manly sort of way ;-)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world of motorcycles and blogging, thanks for the comment and link. I've also added you to my blogroll -->
DeleteI am wreath envious! Alas I have no tires hanging around, maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteYou are a lucky girl, I can't get rid of my old tires fast enough and they begin to multiply outside the garage. You could check out your local bike shop, I'm sure they'd have some old tires kicking around they'd be happy to get rid of.
DeleteNice work! I like B's, too. :-)
